Merry Christmas to all! We hope that this holiday season finds you well and healthy. The Hamren’s have many things to be thankful for this year. It was a year filled with many firsts.
Jason and Katie brought their first child into the family this past year, her name is Ella Mae and she is an absolute blessing and doll. This is our fourth grandchild; all girls! We enjoy watching Jason and Katie settle into their new roles as parents. Jason is currently in the process of becoming an air traffic controller, and Katie continues to work at the spa as an esthetician. This past year Jason and Katie were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple, it was a great year for them and the family!
Jennifer and Justin live in Cedar City, Utah. Justin is the branch manager at Wells Fargo and Jennifer is a psychologist, taxi driver, dance instructor, teacher, cook, maid, in other words, a stay at home mom and proud of it! They have three girls, Hope, Halle and Haven. Hope started school this year and is doing well and loves it. Halle looks forward to seeing grandpa and have there nuts together. Haven is slowly warming up to all the relatives she has who want to give her a cuddle.
Tyson returned home from his mission to Guatemala this past year, and is presently attending Southern Utah University. He has been living as an ‘adopted fourth child’ at Justin and Jennifer’s house, and is sad that he wont live with his nieces for much longer- since he’s moving out at the new year. He dates all the pretty girls and always says he hopes to find ‘the one’ soon!
Dustin just recently arrived home from his mission to West Virginia this past month. He is enthusiastic to begin school this coming January at BYU. He too is already dating all the beauties and has started his journey for finding himself a keeper. The family has been excited and tremendously blessed to see two brothers, and sons come home this year. They were greatly missed.
Jordan graduated from Hillcrest high school this past June. He works at warp 9 racing, as he saves, and prepares to serve a mission. Jordan always loves to play any type of sport, which at this time seems to be racquetball.
Brittney is a sophmore at Hillcrest High this year. She decided to try out for cheer; making Song Leader, rather unexpectedly. We are very proud of her. She performs at nearly all of the schools sporting activities and is very good at what she does. She is looking forward to driving soon with the help of Dad.
Landon ran for student body this year at his new school, Butler Junior High. He was voted in by his classmates and wears his sweater proudly. We are proud of him for going out on a limb and becoming involved at his school.
Kaylin is involved in dance, tumbling and has just picked up learning the violin. She is the caboose of this Hamren family, so Mom calls her “baby” all the time. We are not sure how long she will enjoy that nickname.
John and Glori love watching their 8 children grow, and enjoy being grandparents to four beautiful granddaughters. This year we will have the whole family home for Christmas, so we look forward to all the family fun!
